STATEMENT

From the organizations – members of the South Caucasian network "Working together in the Caucasus"

The members of the network “Working together in the Caucasus” express their deep concern related with the continued arrests of the activists of civil society in Armenia, including members of the network. The recent events needs independent investigation, and the activists, who demanded the re-calculation of votes, should not be associated with the criminals..

The network appeals to the leaders of Armenia to start the dialogue with opposition, to cease the emergency state and to stop arrests. In case of necessity and consent from the Armenian authorities, the network is ready to propose qualified neutral facilitators and mediators to assist in establishing dialogue and prevention of further confrontation in society.
